Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' licenses, registrations, and accreditations are in order. This includes implementing service strategies, developing performance management systems, and providing technical advice on related licensing matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing effective service strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Managing performance management systems to drive continuous service improvement.
- Providing technical advice on licensing matters and guidance to managers and the Management.
- Liaising with government agencies to ensure timely applications, submissions, filings, and processes.
- Resolving complex issues and managing sensitive or contentious cases.
- Ensuring compliance with the Data Privacy Act through effective document and evidential control systems.
- Supporting the department on licensing and other registrations with government agencies.
- Developing standards on Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for employee progress and competence.
- Managing programmers, visions, strategies into operational reality through service delivery plans.
- Monitoring new laws, regulations, memorandum circulars, and rulings on licensing, registration, accreditations, and other licenses.
- Overseeing and managing special registrations, accreditation, and licenses, and formulating effective methods of registrations.
- Reviewing and managing document quality before submission and filing.
- Delivering plans to balance service volume handled by the department.
- Flexibly undertaking duties and responsibilities as needed by the General Manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualifications include a Juris Doctor/Bachelor of Laws graduate or any related field; an advance degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5-7 years' experience as Assistant Managerial Position plus 1 year experience and familiarity with registration, accreditation, and licensing, particularly with government agencies listed above.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Ability to adapt to changing regulatory requirements and prioritize tasks accordingly.
