We're seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in relational database development to join our dynamic team.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust database architectures, ensuring the scalability and performance of our systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain high-quality code, collaborating on features, bug fixes, and technical improvements.

To thrive in this role, you'll need exceptional problem-solving skills, a passion for learning new technologies, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement highly scalable database architectures to meet the needs of our rapidly growing business
  • Develop and maintain high-quality PL/pgSQL code to ensure seamless integration with our applications
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient deployment and testing of new features
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in relational database development (PostgreSQL preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/pgSQL
  • Experience with version control (Git) and modern dev workflows
  • Good understanding of database performance and storage optimization
  • Working knowledge of Linux environment
  • Bonus points for scripting skills (Bash, Python)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD is a plus)
  • Experience with Docker and microservices is a strong plus
