Job Description:

The Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist will be responsible for assisting the Commercial Finance Manager in facilitating Annual Business Planning, Monthly Financial Forecasting, and Performance Management reporting.

  • Consolidate information for timely preparation of business plans
  • Assist in ensuring business plans are consistent, robust, and meet financial performance aspirations set by management
  • Responsible for opex budget upload to ERP
  • Assist in preparing monthly business performance information packs and consolidate feedback on financial variance analysis, casual factors, scorecard, and commentary
  • Review MI Reports for various ManCom, IMT, Executive Committee & Board Meetings
  • Perform monthly financial performance forecast to ensure alignment and achieving desired financial targets and Operational Plan and Scorecard
  • Conduct OPEX analysis for Logistics & Operations Team, Finance & Corporate Services, HSSE, Business Development, HR, Compensation & Benefits & Top Executives (C's)
  • Prepare finance presentation during ManCom Meeting

Key Challenges:

The Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist must provide effective and value-added finance analysis to the business in an ever-challenging business target/strategies environment.

  • Understand business needs and provide relevant and useful information on a timely basis
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in working with business function heads
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Isla reporting requirements
  • Ability to understand impacts of business actions on financials and KPIs
  • Champion and roll out Management initiatives
  • Provide timely and quality management analysis to the team for decision making

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's in Accountancy, preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), at least 3 years of working experience in Cost Accounting, Financial Analysis & Reporting, knowledge in Financial ERPs, excellent interpersonal, written, and oral English communication skills, advance level in MS Office, critical thinking, analytical, and highly organized skills, and ability to work independently and prepare accurate and reliable reports.
