Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Assistant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing actuarial support to various business units, including valuation, liability and asset modeling, experience analytics, pricing, and related deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of actuarial principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They will also be proficient in MS Office (Excel, VBA, Access), GGY AXIS, SQL, QlikView, Python or similar programs.

In this role, you will work closely with other team members to develop and implement IFRS 17 solutions, provide advice on results validation, and ensure compliance with valuation control requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of IFRS 17 solutions
  • Provide actuarial support to various business units
  • Develop and maintain complex models and calculations
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all deliverables
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field
  • At least 7 years of actuarial work experience in Insurance or Financial Services
  • Associate designation in any recognized actuarial organization (SOA, ASP), with meaningful progress towards Fellowship
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Excel, VBA, Access), GGY AXIS, SQL, QlikView, Python or similar programs
