Mobile Technology Architect

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Technology Architect to spearhead the design, development, and optimization of our iOS and Android mobile applications.

This role requires hands-on technical leadership, strong architecture skills, and a passion for building scalable, consumer-facing mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and grow the mobile development team by screening candidates, conducting technical assessments, and collaborating with HR in the hiring process.

  • Design and implement architectural decisions and development standards for mobile platforms (iOS & Android).

  • Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to define and execute new features.

  • Ensure app performance, responsiveness, and security.

  • Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship to junior developers, and enforce engineering best practices.

  • Monitor mobile technology trends and recommend strategic improvements.

  • Owning and optimizing the full mobile development lifecycle from concept to release and continuous iteration.

  • Assist in debugging and resolving production issues across mobile platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in mobile development, with at least 2 years in a technical lead or senior role.

  • Proficient in mobile development frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native) or native (Swift for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android).

  • Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture).

  • Solid experience integrating RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and SDKs.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and mobile deployment processes.

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Familiarity with Firebase, analytics tools, and performance monitoring is preferred.
