Mobile Technical Head Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will spearhead the design, development, and optimization of iOS and Android mobile applications.
  • Taking the lead in establishing and growing the mobile development team by screening candidates, conducting technical assessments, and collaborating with HR in the hiring process.
  • Designing and implementing architectural decisions and development standards for mobile platforms (iOS & Android).
  • Collaborating with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to define and execute new features.
  • Ensuring app performance, responsiveness, and security.
  • Conducting code reviews, providing mentorship to junior developers, and enforcing engineering best practices.
  • Monitoring mobile technology trends and recommending strategic improvements.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

Our company seeks a highly skilled professional who has the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mobile development, with at least 2 years in a technical lead or senior role.
  • Proficient in mobile development frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native) or native (Swift for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android).
  • Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture).
  • Solid experience integrating RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and SDKs.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and mobile deployment processes (App Store / Play Store).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Firebase, analytics tools, and performance monitoring is preferred.
  • Previous experience with unit and UI testing frameworks is a plus.
