Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our Platform team. This key role is ideal for someone who thinks strategically, enjoys high-pace environments, and has experience building and scaling complex engineering systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building, owning, and reporting on the performance of complex end-to-end systems
  • Actively participating in product decisions and refining the product roadmap
  • Working with the Platform team to provide universal architecture and experience across products

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in building and maintaining large-scale products, with expertise in both backend and frontend development
  • Strong systems thinking skills, including the ability to think at a high level about end-to-end systems involving multiple products and third-party services
  • Speed and agility in generating ideas and options, with the ability to decide which things can ship now and what things need time
  • Focus and self-motivation, with the ability to engage or be heads down as needed
  • Collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, play, and negotiate with opinionated designers, marketers, and product managers
  • Proficiency in NodeJS, ReactJS, TypeScript, Java, Go, and Python
