We are seeking a seasoned developer to lead the design, development and maintenance of scalable backend systems and APIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • We're looking for an expert in building public-facing API products with 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, including expertise in frameworks like Flask or FastAPI, are required.
  • A high level of proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL, along with experience in geospatial extensions like PostGIS, is expected.
  • Candidates must have experience working with AWS services, including API Gateway, Lambda, and the Serverless Stack.
  • A knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven technologies like webhooks is necessary.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless API integrations and efficient workflows through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:
  • Must have 5+ years of backend software development experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with expertise in frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
  • High proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL, with experience in geospatial extensions like PostGIS.
  • Experience working with AWS services, including API Gateway, Lambda, and the Serverless Stack.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven technologies like webhooks.

Familiarity with geospatial data formats like GeoJSON, shapefiles, or KMZ is a nice to have, as well as understanding of telecom or utility network planning and deployment workflows.
