About the Job

EastWest Bank is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Learning and Development Team Lead (Core and Mainstream). This role will be based in Ortigas and will involve identifying, developing, delivering, and evaluating learning and development solutions to build employee competencies for current and future roles.

In this position, you will formulate and establish the learning and development framework, budget process, policies, and service level agreements for assigned business groups or talent segments. You will also supervise the Learning & Development team in formulating the budget, monitoring, and controlling costs for their assigned businesses.

You will ensure competency frameworks are aligned with business requirements to build individual competencies and organizational capabilities. To achieve this, you will implement processes and tools for conducting learning needs analysis to ensure consistency and alignment with business requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a background in banking, preferably with Retail Banking experience, and expertise in handling volume programs, leadership development, and transformation initiatives. They should also have experience in designing and delivering training programs for new hires to leadership levels, including mandatory training, store operations, and development programs.

A bachelor's degree in any discipline is required, and proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) with admin experience is highly desirable. Stakeholder management skills and experience in program animation are also a plus.
