Lead Complex Tax Work as a Seasoned Professional

Are you a seasoned tax professional seeking to take the next step in your career? We're recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking accounting firm looking for a Tax Leader to lead complex tax work, mentor junior staff, and grow into a leadership position over time.

Your strong analytical skills, particularly with 1040 tax filing and QuickBooks experience, are essential for this role. As a Tax Leader, you'll be responsible for independently preparing a wide variety of returns, reviewing junior staff's work, and communicating with clients professionally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare multiple types of tax returns independently - 1040, QuickBooks experienced
  • Review junior staff's work and provide constructive feedback
  • Communicate with clients via email regarding documentation and questions
  • Analyze complex tax situations to identify issues, risks, and planning opportunities
  • Use digital tools to manage workflow and client communication seamlessly
  • Collaborate with partners on advanced planning and high-level tax matters
  • Mentor junior team members and step into growing leadership responsibilities
