Senior Tax Compliance Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely submission of sales tax filings for our clients.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and tax compliance, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with our clients to ensure their sales tax data is accurate and in a format compatible with our tax software.

Key responsibilities include preparing and submitting sales tax filings, monitoring clients' tax collection variances, providing assistance to resolve time-critical issues, and assisting with special client projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 2+ years of accounting or audit experience
  • Multi-client master - ability to manage multiple clients and priorities
  • Excel/Google Sheets guru - advanced spreadsheet skills
  • Bonus points for US tax knowledge and/or CPA certification
