About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator who can accurately perform takeoffs and cost estimates for projects involving electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in architectural and electrical projects, as well as those with experience in electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed and accurate takeoffs using Planswift or Bluebeam software to ensure comprehensive project costing.
  • Review and interpret complex architectural and electrical drawings, including reflected ceiling plans, to identify key elements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the project team to verify and refine estimates, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Planswift or Bluebeam software is essential for success in this role.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is necessary for preparing detailed reports and analyzing data.
  • A background in architectural and electrical projects, as well as experience in electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans, is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent spoken and written English, and prior costing/estimating experience are also advantageous.
