Key Responsibilities

The Systems Architect will be responsible for providing architecture leadership, overseeing ERP enhancements, and fixing workflow and process inefficiencies.

  • Systems Architecture – Assessment Report: Provides an evaluation report on the current system based on the current architecture with business needs.
  • ERP Workflow Optimization Plan – Assesses and improves ERP workflows.
  • Finance Systems Integration Blueprint – Integrates Oracle ERP with other digital finance systems.
  • Enterprise Digital Finance Architecture Strategy.
  • Implementation of the identified financial reporting system improvement.
  • Serves as subject matter expert and lead architect across 1RE for Oracle Cloud ERP and related finance systems.
  • Reviews and documents current systems and workflows, then designs a scalable, future-ready digital architecture aligned with group consolidation needs.

Additionally, the Systems Architect will conduct regular system health checks and performance monitoring for Oracle Cloud ERP and integrated finance systems.

B. Workflow Fixing and Governance

The Systems Architect will review and correct workflow approval hierarchies within Oracle ERP to align with delegation of authority policies.

  • Addresses inefficiencies or breaks in system routing and escalation logic.
  • Ensures approval processes are auditable, efficient, and properly documented.
  • Develops and implements periodic monitoring mechanisms to proactively identify and prevent future workflow inefficiencies/issues.
C. Business Process Optimization

The Systems Architect will conduct gap analysis on current business processes versus Oracle system usage.

  • Identifies, prioritizes, and implements optimizable processes across finance, procurement, and reporting functions.
  • Defines and tracks KPIs that measure the success and impact of implemented process improvements, with established baselines and target metrics.
D. Systems Integration & Data Flow

The Systems Architect will validate and streamline data flow across ERP modules and interfacing systems.

  • Ensures inter-company transactions, eliminations, and month-end closing activities are systematized and traceable, to improve closing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Oversees improvements to master data governance (e.g., chart of accounts, cost centers).
E. Implementation & Change Management

The Systems Architect will translate identified opportunities into actionable implementation plans.

  • Leads execution of change initiatives including process rollout, system testing (UAT), training, documentation, and post-implementation user support.
  • Coordinates with the ERP support team and internal users to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Develops and implements comprehensive work instructions (WIs) and quick reference guides (QRGs) for key system processes.
F. Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting

The Systems Architect will collaborate with functional teams, IT, and leadership to align solutions with business goals.
