About Icon Design Role

This role is focused on icon creation with a strong visual eye and good copywriting skills. A talented icon designer is needed to contribute to a world-leading logo library.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design original vector-based icons, upload them to the platform, and prepare for review and publishing, meeting agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Record work in personal and team trackers in a timely manner.
  • Copywriting - add relevant tags to help customers find the icon designs on the website.
  • Design unique original icons for logo makers and other template makers and design libraries.
  • Edit and enhance existing icons and other template inventory that need to be updated.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members on assignments, ensuring alignment with project briefs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an in-house graphic designer, agency, or freelancer with expertise in icon or logo creation.
  • Proficient in using design software and technologies, including Adobe Illustrator.
  • Strong icon design portfolio or online graphic design portfolio link with application.
  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field and/or strong work experience designing icons is essential.
  • Excellent visual taste/aesthetics and good knowledge of color combinations to create stunning icons.
  • Knowledge of graphic design trends and excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work methodically and meet deadlines, set goals, and achieve KPIs and targets.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Strong, confident level of business English expected for editing icons and SEO.
