Network Software Engineer - Open Source Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Software Engineer to join our team of open source networking experts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative open source networking solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in network technology and contribute to shaping the future of open source networking. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science and network fundamentals, including architecture, design, and protocols. Additionally, experience with Linux networking, from kernel to user space, and fluency in C/C++ and at least one of Rust, Python, or Golang are essential skills for this role.

In this position, you will collaborate with our team to implement high-quality software-defined networking solutions for the data center. You will also participate in upstream development and contribute to the Ubuntu SoNIC stack. Furthermore, you will work closely with public clouds and network silicon providers to optimize our solutions for their ASICs, boards, and appliances.

We value exceptional academic track records, undergraduate degrees in Computer Science or STEM fields, and strong interpersonal skills. Professional written and spoken English is also a must.
