Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Culinary Specialist to join our team at Holistic Approach Systems Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food for service, scratch cooking from basic ingredients, and ensuring the highest quality and appearance of our products.

• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food items consistently, following recipes and adhering to established standards.
• Stock Management: Coordinate stocks/mise en place to ensure sufficient and proper food items are available during meal service.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service.
• Quality Control: Ensure the proper quality and appearance of products according to established standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily equipment checks and temperature monitoring, and contact maintenance as needed to ensure proper food safety.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
• Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
