Sr. Ecommerce Merchandiser Job Description

At Sonak Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Ecommerce Merchandiser to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating and executing merchandising strategies that drive revenue and profitability growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement merchandising plans that align with business objectives
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of merchandising strategies
  • Monitor and resolve order issues to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Source and develop new brands that align with our website positioning
  • Manage inventory levels and aging products to optimize profitability
  • Provide proactive feedback on merchandising strategies and identify areas for improvement
  • Build and maintain product knowledge and category expertise
  • Lead business performance reviews with the marketing team to share learnings and insights
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Ecommerce, or related field
  • At least three to four years of relevant experience in merchandising, preferably in retail
  • Advanced knowledge of budgeting, financial statements, strategic marketing, and trend forecasting
  • Excellent skills in merchandising management, analysis, and negotiation
  • Ability to work beyond regular working hours and travel locally and internationally when needed
