Job Description

The role of a Data Engineer is to create data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes. This involves designing and developing innovative software applications that leverage data to inform decision-making.

This position requires strong technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages, database management systems, and data visualization tools.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing software applications using Agile methodologies.
  • Analyzing complex data sets to identify trends and insights.
  • Developing and maintaining databases to store and manage large datasets.

This role also requires working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

A strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, data modeling techniques, and database design patterns are essential for this position.

Additional skills and experience required include:

  • 8+ years of work experience in Information Technology.
  • Strong programming, debugging, unit testing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge in MS SQL Server, ETL (SSIS), Snowflake, Databrick, and experience in establishing CI/CD and DevOps models for release pipelines.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technology, software, and system solutions.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Healthcare domain knowledge.
