Accountant Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, preparing financial statements, and providing exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely completion of assignments and providing regular updates.
  • Prepare annual accounts, tax computations, and other financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Provide management accounts and information on a quarterly or monthly basis.
  • Prepare VAT returns on a quarterly basis.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, responding to ad hoc queries in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Qualifications:
  • ACA / ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience working in practice.

  • Skills:
  • Computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Office.
  • Able to adapt quickly to new software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
