Valuation and Private Equity Expertise

The Valuation Oversight Team in North America collaborates with the Private Alternative Investment Valuation Committee (PAIVC) to fulfill its oversight responsibilities for private alternative investment valuations and administration of quarterly PAIVC meetings. The team supports the committee in executing these responsibilities in collaboration and under remote supervision.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Preparing the quarterly Private Equity scoping file and identifying investments for valuation review and impairment testing.
  2. Coordinating quarterly private equity impairment testing and recommendations with the Front Office.
  3. Generating the daily AC509 monitoring file for cash contributions, distributions, and return of capital.
  4. Collecting valuation packages from the Front Office.
  5. Reviewing internally valued private equity investments and summarizing results.
  6. Assisting in preparing materials for the quarterly PAIVC meeting.
  7. Reviewing Real Estate appraisals to ensure market data use and appropriate valuation methodologies.
  8. Reviewing MIMPEC Fund valuations at the first level.
  9. Working with AIA and Pricing teams to ensure correct upload of fair values to SCD.
  10. Maintaining collaboration and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  11. Assisting with ad-hoc projects and initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance preferred.
  • Professional Accounting or Finance Designation (CPA/CFA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Power BI.
  • Ability to work mid-shift (Manila time).
