About the Role

At Straightforward, we are seeking a talented Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for fashion design to contribute to the creation of innovative products.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in design, fashion textile, or fine arts and experience in fashion design principles. Proficiency in CAD, Excel, and visualization tools is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the team to create new products using design software.
  • Share design ideas with the team and managing director for approval.
  • Research trends, test materials, and choose colors and patterns.
  • Manage production, work with suppliers, and oversee prototypes.
  • Work with the team to design clothes, create mood boards, and align with the business strategy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in design, fashion textile, fine arts, or any related course.
  • Experience is an advantage with knowledge of fashion design principles.
  • Proficiency in CAD, Excel, and Visualization tools.
  • Can think outside the box and have an eye for colors and a feel for fabrics and materials.
  • Amenable to working in a fast-paced environment.
