We are searching for a talented Product Development Scientist to lead the development of new snack products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food science and technology, as well as experience working in a manufacturing environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating a strong scientific platform for the creation of new products, identifying and approving new ingredients, and working with commercialization teams to bring products to market.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of consumer needs and preferences to inform product development.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop new snack products, from concept to launch.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and regional R&D teams to source new ingredients and technologies.
  • Manage project records and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Train and cascade new innovations and technologies to colleagues.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as food technology, food science, or chemistry.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in a snacks category/division.
  • Strong knowledge of food processes and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient computer and reporting skills.
