Job Title

We are seeking a talented Data Architect to design and implement robust data integration solutions, collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements, and resolve complex data-related issues.

As a key member of our global IT team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of technology for one of Canada's largest telco, media, and tech companies.

  • Develop scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to drive innovation in cybersecurity and big data technology.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, BI Developers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, data pipeline failures, and data security risks.
  • Optimize existing processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in development using Python.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in data integration, with solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL development.
  • Experience with Web APIs, SQL, and data modeling.
  • 1+ year of experience in data level security.

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields is required. Additional certifications in SAP BW or MicroStrategy are desirable.
