Senior DevOps Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Managed Services group, you will be responsible for ongoing support, escalations, and proactive maintenance for our client's Azure platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support client Microsoft Azure infrastructure, respond to escalations, and analyze/resolve incidents.
  • Communicate ticket status and escalate cases as necessary to ensure timely closure.
  • Interact with clients, troubleshoot issues, and communicate technical solutions in business terms.
  • Install, configure, and administer client systems in Azure to enhance infrastructure.
  • Configure and tune cloud-based tools, manage cost, security, and compliance for client environments.
  • Execute monthly maintenance of the Azure infrastructure, including patching, backups, and disaster recovery.
  • Create and maintain updated documentation for each client environment.
  • Promote best practices to enhance organizational processes.
  • Participate in weekly discussions with clients to review outstanding issues and changes.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including compute, storage, and networking services.
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory, Azure Security Center, and Azure Monitor.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash.
