Job Summary

The Head Mechanic oversees the daily operations of our workshop, ensuring that all mechanical repair and maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and to high standards. This role involves supervising a team of mechanics and technicians, assigning tasks, and managing workflow to ensure timely completion of repair and maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train a team of mechanics and technicians to maintain high-quality service delivery.

  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues in vehicles or machinery.
  • Oversee and participate in the repair and maintenance of various mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in automotive technology or mechanical systems is preferred.

Skills and Attitudes: Strong leadership and management skills, technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and organizational skills are essential for this role.
