About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to elevate our content across multiple platforms.

  • Edit two long-form videos per week using voiceovers and gameplay footage,
  • Add engaging text overlays, animations, and transitions to enhance viewer retention,
  • Organize large video files and project assets efficiently,
  • Collaborate with the team via Discord to receive feedback and align on creative direction,
  • Use Google Drive and Workspace to manage files and maintain version control,
  • Conduct light research on competitors and channel analytics to improve content performance,
  • Assist with scriptwriting and topic research as needed,
Key Responsibilities
  1. Edit YouTube Videos: Edit two long-form videos per week using voiceovers and gameplay footage.
  2. Add Engaging Elements: Add engaging text overlays, animations, and transitions to enhance viewer retention.
  3. Manage Files: Organize large video files and project assets efficiently.
  4. Collaborate with Team: Collaborate with the team via Discord to receive feedback and align on creative direction.
  5. Utilize Google Tools: Use Google Drive and Workspace to manage files and maintain version control.
  6. Analyze Performance: Conduct light research on competitors and channel analytics to improve content performance.
  7. Support Scriptwriting: Assist with scriptwriting and topic research as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience in Editing: Proven experience editing YouTube videos, ideally in the gaming or content creation niche.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud: Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects) or other professional video editing tools.
  • Strong Editing Skills: Strong editing skills, including cutting gameplay footage, syncing audio, and creating engaging motion graphics and text overlays.
  • Able to Match Audio: Ability to effectively match voiceovers or commentary with gameplay footage.
  • Competitor Analysis: Experience conducting competitor analysis and using YouTube performance data to guide improvements.
