Your Key Responsibilities

This role involves developing and implementing risk management strategies that align with Maybank Group's business objectives.

Main Tasks:

  1. Risk Management Frameworks
  • Develop and review market risk frameworks, policies, guidelines, procedures, and methodologies.
  • Ensure these frameworks are aligned with local regulatory requirements and business strategies.
Risk Exposure Analysis
  • Analyze Global Markets activities using both qualitative and quantitative risk measures.
  • Report on market risk exposure to MPI and the Parent Bank.
Non-Compliance Issues
  • Escalate non-compliance issues to the CRO and relevant committees/business units.
  • Collaborate with Audit and Global Markets to investigate potential negligence fraud cases.
System Implementation and Testing
  • Assist in implementing risk management infrastructure.
  • Conduct system testing to ensure consistency with established frameworks/policies/methodologies.

We're Seeking a Candidate With

  • Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or Accountancy.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Risk Management, Finance, Corporate Planning, or Treasury.
  • Treasury Certification (FRM/PRM) is an added advantage.
