Lead Software Developer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a vital role in shaping the direction and strategy of our software development efforts.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development with a focus on Node.js and React.js. They will be responsible for leading the development of scalable digital products, translating complex UI/UX designs into responsive front-end code, and architecting robust server-side applications and APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of scalable digital products using Node.js and React.js.
  • Translate complex UI/UX designs into responsive front-end code.
  • Architect and develop robust server-side applications and APIs (RESTful and/or GraphQL).
  • Design and manage data workflows using relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Build reusable, modular front-end components and libraries across multiple projects.
  • Optimize performance, reliability, and security across both client and server-side.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate, prototype, and validate early-stage concepts.
  • Ensure web applications are accessible, mobile-optimized, and browser-compatible.
  • Maintain clean, well-documented, and testable code throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Mentor junior developers and help shape engineering best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with strong focus on Node.js and React.js.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design.
  • Proven experience with RESTful and GraphQL API development and integration.
  • Skilled in relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, React Context).
  • Familiar with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Proficient with Webpack, Babel, Git, and other build/version control tools.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
