Editorial Video Specialist

A growing digital brand seeks an accomplished Video Editor to create captivating content across multiple platforms.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Edit at least two high-quality, long-form YouTube videos (10+ minutes) per week using engaging voiceovers and compelling gameplay footage.
  • Add impactful text overlays, basic animations, and smooth transitions to enhance viewer engagement and retention.
  • Efficiently manage large video files and project assets, ensuring seamless collaboration with the team.
  • Participate in feedback sessions and align with the creative direction of the brand.
  • Conduct research on competitors and channel analytics to inform content improvement strategies.
  • Assist with scriptwriting and topic research as needed to maintain consistency with the existing brand style.
  • Regularly suggest and test new editing styles or techniques to elevate content quality and engagement.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience editing YouTube videos, preferably in the gaming or content creation niche.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects) or other professional video editing tools.
  • Strong editing skills, including cutting gameplay footage, syncing audio, and creating engaging motion graphics and text overlays.
  • Ability to effectively match voiceovers or commentary with gameplay footage.
  • Experience conducting competitor analysis and using YouTube performance data to guide improvements.
  • Familiarity with gaming culture is a plus but not required.
