Job Summary

The FP&A Analyst will support financial planning, forecasting, and reporting efforts with a strong focus on cost forecasting for parts within a manufacturing environment. This role serves as a strategic finance partner to operations, engineering, and planning teams to ensure timely execution of forecasts and financial plans that align with the organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial planning and forecasting processes related to parts costs ensuring timely and accurate inputs from cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Analyze actual results against forecast and plan explain variances and trends with insights to drive business actions.
  • Build strong partnerships with Engineering Operations and Planning teams to understand evolving business needs and their financial impact.
  • Consolidate and analyze financial data to develop monthly quarterly forecasts and annual operating plans.
  • Ensure that forecasts and plans are executed effectively and reflect up-to-date operational insights.
  • Support strategic decision-making by providing scenario analysis cost modeling and trend reporting.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to TCP's operations and support improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies internal controls and company standards.
Qualifications

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
  • Solid experience in manufacturing finance with a focus on costing and parts cost forecasting.
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of cost structures and financial drivers within a manufacturing or operations-heavy environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial planning systems and tools.
  • Excellent analytical critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and cross-functional collaboration.
