Vessel Operations Manager

Effective financial management is crucial for the success of a fleet or group of vessels. We are seeking a skilled Vessel Controller to support this process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver accurate, timely financial reports for assigned vessels
  • Analyze actual vs. budget performance and identify key cost drivers
  • Liaise with technical and operations teams to support vessel performance reviews
  • Handle customer queries related to financial reports and budget variances
  • Monitor funding, working capital, and ensure timely collection of payments
  • Lead budget and forecast preparation for your assigned fleet
  • Provide training and feedback to vessel accountants to support process improvement

Our ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and coordination skills across technical and non-technical teams, experience using financial systems like SAP, Oracle, or maritime ERPs, and advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) include:

  • 100% on-time submission of financial reports
  • 95% funding collection within due dates
  • 100% of first payment reminders sent on time
