Design, Develop, and Deliver a Robust Business Intelligence Solution

We are seeking an experienced Looker Developer to join our team. As a Looker Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a robust Looker Semantic Layer to support business intelligence and analytics needs.

This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient data models within specified timelines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop LookML models, explores, and dashboards to support business intelligence needs.
  • Optimize LookML code to ensure performance, scalability, and efficient data processing.
  • Implement complex data transformations, calculations, and aggregations using LookML.
  • Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across all Looker assets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Looker, including LookML development, dashboard creation, and data visualization.
  • Proficiency in LookML for building and maintaining models, explores, and dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and experience in creating user-friendly, interactive dashboards.
  • Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL.
  • Solid understanding of BI data architecture, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling (e.g., star schemas, snowflake schemas, and 1-3NF data models).
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimizing Looker assets.
  • Basic knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or other cloud environments is a plus.
  • Exposure to other BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is advantageous.
