Job Opportunity

The role of Test Development Engineer presents an excellent opportunity to join a multi-disciplined new product development team.

This position will involve the development of innovative, high-performance mass production ready hardware and software solutions for leading-edge products. Key areas of focus include cost optimization, quality improvement, and reliability enhancement through Design for Testability (DFT) and pre-silicon verification.

As a member of the team, you will work closely with engineers across various disciplines to design and develop test solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements. Additionally, opportunities exist for project leadership roles, collaboration with Tier 1 customers, and mentorship/leadership development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implementation of efficient test solutions on high-performance mixed-signal Automated Test Equipment (ATE) platforms.
  • Development of DFT definitions and strategies to improve testability, reduce costs, and enhance overall quality.
  • Pre-silicon verification of test solutions in simulation and FPGA environments.
  • Execution of test development phases including silicon functionality, debug, characterization, yield analysis, and offshore production release.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and advance measurement methodologies.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in ATE Test Development, ideally on Teradyne platforms.
  • Strong understanding of analogue and digital electronics, as well as PCB design and associated CAD/Simulation tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a proven track record of solving complex problems through planning, debugging, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated individual willing to take on responsibility and show initiative in identifying and solving challenging technical problems.
