Software Development Lead Position

We seek a highly skilled software development lead to contribute to our team in Makati, PH.

About the Role

You will join a dynamic team in the engineering division, working with cutting-edge technology stacks including Java, Spring, Kafka, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.

As a software development lead, you will have the opportunity to work on containerization and microservices development, building frameworks and tools used across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop frameworks and tools for microservices running on Kubernetes.
  • Take ownership of specific parts of the frameworks and tools.
  • Support development teams working on microservices.
  • Collaborate with clients to adopt OpenShift container platform, install, and configure Avaloq microservices.

You will also contribute to improving our processes in an agile environment.

Requirements
  • University degree in computer science or business informatics, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Java development and associated frameworks (e.g., JEE and Spring).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Bonus points if you have experience with cloud architecture concepts, cloud development techniques, and open-source libraries.
