Job Title: Financial Accountant

The role of the financial accountant involves maintaining accurate and timely accounting records, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and other ad hoc tasks. As a key member of the finance team, they will be mentored and supported to develop within a rapidly growing business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
  • Complete assigned monthly balance sheet reconciliations in a timely manner
  • Assist with external audit processes to ensure compliance
  • Perform various tasks and project work as required by the management
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve high performance culture
Requirements:
  • Degree-level qualification in Accounting or Commerce is essential
  • Certified Accountant or Certified Public Accountant certification is highly desirable
  • A minimum of 2-4 years' experience in accounting is necessary for this position
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and standards (AASB/IFRS) is mandatory
