Accountant Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Accountant to join our finance team. As a key member of the financial department, you will be responsible for preparing, examining, and analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow to ensure timely payments and accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to ensure the company's financial goals are met.
  • Prepare tax returns and ensure timely filing in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and applicable laws.
  • Assist with internal and external audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Support the finance team in various projects and ad-hoc reporting needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Excel).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
