Accounting Associate Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Associate to support our financial operations.

Job Summary:

The Accounting Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial records. This position involves various responsibilities focused on accounting, compliance, and reporting.

  • Post month-end close journal entries and ensure accurate financial statements
  • Reconcile bank statements and ledgers to identify any discrepancies
  • Perform monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliation and resolve any issues
  • Audit and approve employee expense reports to prevent fraudulent activities
  • Input company bills and invoices in the payables workflow module for timely payment
  • Generate financial reports using accounting software and conduct financial analysis
  • Create and update process documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
  • Candidate must have a degree in Accountancy or related field
  • With 1-2 years of experience in corporate accounting
  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles, including financial statements
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Excel (PivotTable, Macro VBA)
  • Computer and internet proficiency
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
