Expert SMSF Accountant Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to secure a challenging and rewarding role as a Senior SMSF Accountant. The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of SMSF legislation, SIS Act, and ATO requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Statement Preparation – Prepare and review SMSF financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documentation with precision and accuracy.
- Transaction Review – Manage complex fund transactions including pensions, contributions, and investment portfolios with ease and expertise.
- Audit Liaison – Liaise with auditors to finalise SMSF compliance reviews efficiently and effectively.
- Accountant Supervision – Supervise and mentor intermediate SMSF accountants to ensure their skills and knowledge are developed to the highest level.
- Technical Support – Provide technical support to Australian client managers on SMSF matters.
- At least 5 years' experience in SMSF accounting within an Australian accounting firm.
- Thorough knowledge of SMSF legislation, SIS Act, and ATO requirements.
- Experience with Class Super, BGL, or other SMSF administration software.
- Excellent review and supervisory skills.
- Superb communication and problem-solving abilities.
