Job Title: Import Logistics Manager

Job Summary

This role is responsible for supporting the company's import logistics processes, ensuring efficient and compliant operations.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to update order and shipment details, flagging risks and opportunities as necessary.
  • Ensure accuracy in shipping documents, checking completeness of required documents to release shipments and minimize duties and taxes.
  • Liaise with clearing agents, forwarders, and principals to arrange cargo shipping and clearance at Customs, ensuring timely delivery to warehouses.
  • Prepare and consolidate import documents for record-keeping and forwarding to AP for on-time payment to billings of forwarders.
  • Execute timely submission of monthly goods in transit reports to comply with JV's Finance requirements.
  • Report summary of shipment costs for F&B and CDT, updating PO conditions in SAP quarterly as required by Luxasia or JVs.
  • In-charge processing claims to business partners and forwarders, including write-off system transactions for inbound deliveries' non-compliances such as shortages and damages.
  • Serve any other duties assigned from time to time.
