Video Editor Position

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience editing direct response video ads that convert and be familiar with performance metrics such as hook rates, hold rates, and unique outbound CTR.

The successful candidate will be able to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with creative strategists and have a data-driven mindset to iterate based on performance data.

Responsibilities include:

  • Edit mini-VSLs (1-3 minutes) with strategic B-roll placement and compelling flow
  • Create non-narrated performance ads (30s-1min) with seamless B-roll storytelling
  • Develop UGC talking-head style content (30s-1min) that feels authentic yet polished
  • Use AI-generated visuals using cutting-edge tools (Higgsfield, Kling, Veo3, etc.)
  • Perform quality iterations based on real data from Atria reports and ad accounts
  • Deliver 12-18 video pieces per week (complexity-dependent)

Priorities include:

  • Quality over quantity - prefer 12 strong edits over 20 mediocre ones
  • Proactive concept iterations based on performance data available
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must:

  • Have proven experience editing direct response video ads that convert
  • Understand performance metrics: hook rates, hold rates, unique outbound CTR
  • Be able to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with creative strategists
  • Have a data-driven mindset - iterate based on what the numbers tell you
  • Be comfortable sourcing footage from TikTok/Instagram smaller creators + internal content bank
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
