Our organization is seeking a talented Platform Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, building and scaling mission-critical platform services that power next-generation AI and cloud applications.

About the Role

This position requires a strong background in data engineering, with experience in designing and operating data platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience deploying or operating data platform services, such as Kafka, NiFi, Airflow, Spark, Flink, Iceberg, Trino, Superset, and dbt.

  • We are looking for someone who can design technical architecture for cloud data platform services.
  • The successful candidate will have strong scripting skills, proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with CI/CD and GitOps is also highly desirable.
Responsibilities1. Product Development & Research
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop cloud data platform components.
  • Implement and integrate data platform services, including deployment, configuration, and optimization.
  • Research new technologies to optimize performance and enhance the product.
2. Operations & Managed Services for Customers
  • Support customers with deployment, configuration, and optimization of cloud data platform services.
  • Maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure service SLA compliance.
  • Participate in training and guiding customers on platform usage.
Requirements

Must-have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, devops, or platform engineer roles.
  • Strong understanding of data pipelines and data engineering concepts.
  • Experience with cloud-based products and solutions.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in designing or operating data lakehouse/data warehouse.
  • Relevant certifications in Kubernetes (CKA, CKAD) or Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure).
