Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Digital Building Integration Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality fault detection and diagnostics services to clients and partners. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard projects, communicate timelines and milestones for analytics, and conduct onboarding activities including data collection services installation, data discovery, and organization for digital building engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality fault detection and diagnostics to clients and partners.
  • Collaborate on onboarding projects, communicating timelines and milestones for analytics.
  • Conduct onboarding activities including Data Collection Services installation, data discovery, and organizing for Digital Building Engineers.
  • Troubleshoot Diagnostics for automated fault detection on customer's HVAC equipment.
  • Review findings and validate results reported by software.
  • Train customers and partners on Data Transfer Service, data connectivity, and related networking issues.
  • Provide ongoing support of connected sites.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Confidently adapt to new technologies.
  • Effective communication with customers and partners.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field, or significant industry experience.
  • Hands-on experience in HVAC, controls, or fault detection and diagnostics (1-2 years).
  • Familiarity with BAS protocols (BACnet, Haystack, oBIX, Modbus).
  • BAS networking principles understanding.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Experience in automated commissioning, fault detection and diagnostics, performance measurement and verification is a plus.
  • Metadata applications familiarity (e.g., Project Haystack) is a plus.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field with interest in building systems, or significant field experience in controls or services company serving buildings industry.
  • Certificate or equivalent experience in basic networking or computer fundamentals.
  • Learns technical solutions quickly and strives to improve them.
  • Effectively communicates technical information to customers.
  • Manages multiple projects across countries.
  • Thorough, analytical with good attention to detail.
  • Helps streamline processes and finds efficiencies for complex technical tasks.
  • Conceives product development ideas and communicates them to leadership and product development teams.
  • Comfortable in an environment where work processes are still being established.
  • Motivated about changing the built environment with new tools and technologies.
  • Prefers a close-knit, passionate environment with key communication and learning experiences.
