Senior NetSuite Developer Job Description

This is a mid-senior level, full-time position in the IT industry, specifically in information technology. As a NetSuite developer, you will play an important role in supporting and developing client applications, working closely with the development team to plan, design, develop, launch, and maintain systems and solutions that meet core client requirements.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership to other software developers, specifying, designing, and implementing modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
  • Develop and maintain workflows and processes in NetSuite to optimize the platform, ensuring data quality, integrations, security, technology, mobile, and analytics are up-to-date and efficient.
  • Design solutions, install software, and migrate data, as well as develop, test, and deploy NetSuite customizations.
  • Write API integrations between NetSuite and third-party systems, developing new features and functionality for existing applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with NetSuite technologies, including web services, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, and NetSuite administration.
  • Strong SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.0 experience, as well as experience with advanced PDF/HTML templates, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Understanding of NetSuite ERP workflow functionality and processes, including CSV imports and mass updates.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
