Job Overview:

The position of Senior Project Development Specialist at FDC Utilities involves performing comprehensive desk reviews and due diligence activities to evaluate the financial and technical viability of potential projects, joint ventures, and/or acquisition initiatives.

This entails preparing necessary documentation for permitting and compliance with post-condition requirements during the pre-development phase. The role also involves coordinating with key stakeholders, including JV partners, government agencies, developers, contractors/consultants, and LGUs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting technical analysis and PVsyst simulation
  • Preparing project cost estimates and preliminary project layouts
  • Providing regulatory and commercial operations support
  • Staying up-to-date with regulatory changes and new issuances

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Knowledge of project development, permitting requirements, tariff design formulation, financial modeling, project valuation, and due diligence on power projects
  • Related work experience in the power industry
