Lead Hardware Engineering Specialist: Secure Innovative Solutions

 

Job Description

This role is ideal for experienced professionals who thrive in collaborative environments and excel at analyzing, qualifying, documenting, and testing design changes. As a key member of the hardware development team, you will work closely with engineers to define component placement and routing.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, including analog and digital circuit design, embedded microprocessor & FPGA design, and on-board power supply design. They should also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing alternative components for cost reduction, quality improvement, and increased manufacturability
  • Reviewing and verifying design changes for compliance with system design guidelines
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design proposals
  • Conducting electrical and functional tests on prototypes
Required Skills & Qualifications

 

Bachelor's Degree Requirements
  • Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent field)
Work Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Hardware Engineering or Component Engineering
  • Proficiency in PCB design and layout techniques, including signal integrity for high-speed design
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve moderately sophisticated problems
