About the Role
  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of dashboards and visualizations related to key operational metrics, ensuring deliverables are provided within agreed SLAs and managing day-to-day activities.
  • Provide key analysis and insights based on historical numbers and recent events that impact the metrics' usual trends, utilizing business intelligence techniques including analytics, data mining, data warehousing, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Develop effective security policies and procedures, project documentation and milestones, and technical/business specifications, demonstrating strong technical knowledge of BI tools integrated to cloud setups.
Responsibilities
  1. Visualization Design: Define dashboard visual layouts, looks, and creatives to enable visual storytelling for business stakeholders, securing concurrence and approval from senior management and stakeholders.
  2. Dashboard Development: Develop dashboards, optimize scripts, and transformations on further requirements in collaboration with Data Build teams, leading development of approved layouts and views via Visualization Tools.
  3. Dashboard QA & Validation: Establish and define QA and validation/UAT plans for every dashboarding development project, executing QA and validation plans according to project plan timelines/milestones, and ensuring accuracy of metrics and figures in relation to standardized KPIs.
  4. Dashboard and Reports Automation: Support reports rationalization initiatives and automate existing dashboards in Excel spreadsheets, developing new scripts to automate in collaboration with Data Build teams.
  5. Dashboard Maintenance: Manage dashboard scheduling, ensure timely and regular production and update of dashboards, depending on agreed frequency, timing SLAs, and close production dashboard scripts, manage versioning, update, change processes.
  6. Adhoc and Regular MIS: Enable ad-hoc and regular MIS requiring simple customer profiling, number scoping, and business monitoring, regularly share and endorse insights to Data Analytics teams for further deep-dives/advanced analytics requirements.
  7. Automation of Data Storytelling Insights: Automate regular profiling and cohort analyses to support Data Storytelling teams in churning out insights faster.
  8. Business User/Stakeholder Education: Educate business users and stakeholders on the use of dashboard visualization tools like Tableau and Google Data Studio.

The ideal candidate will have 8 years of professional experience in complex Business Intelligence concepts, 5 years of experience managing and operating complex systems highly reliable and scalable, and 6 years of experience developing and building reports, data models, dashboards, and BI tools. A Bachelor's Degree in any related field is required.
