Operational Plumbing Supervisor

This is an ideal opportunity for a licensed or journeyman-level plumber looking to transition from fieldwork to a technical operations role within our organization.

You will oversee and manage a high volume of residential work orders daily, ensuring quality control before work progresses. Responsibilities include reviewing diagnoses, validating scopes, and managing licensed plumbers in the field.

Key tasks involve challenging bids, clarifying repairs, and maintaining operational efficiency without scheduling, dispatching, or resident communication.

  • Manage and review numerous plumbing work orders daily across residential sites.
  • Evaluate contractor reports, photos, and videos for accuracy.
  • Identify incomplete or inaccurate bids and coordinate with contractors to resolve issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and escalate quality concerns appropriately.
  • Ensure all documentation and data entries are accurate and complete.
  • Serve as the final QA checkpoint before work approval, scheduling, or billing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot delays or issues.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5+ years of hands-on residential plumbing experience.
  • Master Plumber certification or equivalent.
  • Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to assess work via photos, videos, and notes.
  • Familiarity with common residential plumbing issues.
  • Ability to identify subpar work and guide contractors toward correct scope.
  • Clear, confident communication skills for technical discussions.
  • Willingness to adapt to new software platforms and workflow processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills managing multiple work orders.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
