Role Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing the financial management of a property corporation. The successful candidate will have experience in accounting and finance, as well as strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate and timely financial information is available to stakeholders.
  • Financial Transactions: Process and reconcile all financial transactions, including receipting, bank account administration, and term deposit investments.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including income tax and BAS requirements.
  • Audit and Financial Review: Conduct regular audits and reviews of financial records to identify areas for improvement and ensure accuracy.
  • Communication: Provide clear and concise financial information to stakeholders, including executive committee members, strata managers, and external clients.

Requirements:

  • Accounting Qualification: Degree qualification in accounting or a similar discipline.
  • Experience: At least 4 years of accounting experience, with a proven track record of managing finances and preparing financial reports.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of financial statements (profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow), excellent verbal and written communication skills, and knowledge of income tax and BAS.
