Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting or law, with experience working within a logistics or warehousing environment.


About the Role

This is a remote opportunity that requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for auditing software systems and UPS/FedEx invoices to identify and resolve discrepancies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough audits of UPS/FedEx invoices to identify billing errors and discrepancies.
  • Review and assess software systems for accuracy and process efficiency.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare detailed reports and summaries of audit findings with actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and implement controls to prevent future discrepancies and optimise processes.
  • Stay updated on relevant legal and regulatory standards related to shipping and billing.

Requirements
  • Proven accounting experience, specifically within a logistics or warehousing company.
  • Proven experience in auditing, invoicing, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with UPS/FedEx billing systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in auditing tools and software; advanced skills in MS Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
