IT Support Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT support specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure with a focus on Linux administration, Windows Server/Virtual Hyper-V, cloud technology, web hosting, VoIP systems, domain management, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Linux Administration: Ensure optimal performance and reliability of Linux-based systems.
  • Windows Server and Virtual Hyper-V Management: Manage Windows Server and Virtual Hyper-V environments for efficient operation.
  • Cloud Technology: Utilize cloud technologies to enhance scalability and flexibility of IT systems.
  • Web Hosting: Maintain and troubleshoot web hosting environments, with a focus on Cloudron web hosting experience.
  • VoIP Systems: Handle VoIP systems, including Asterisk, Vicidial, and 3CX, to support telecommunication services.
  • Domain Management: Manage domain registration and DNS settings with providers like GoDaddy and Cloudflare.
  • S3 Bucket Storage: Oversee S3 bucket storage management to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Programming Languages: Utilize programming languages such as PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and frameworks like Laravel to support web development projects.
  • Email Servers: Manage email servers and possess knowledge of Group Office software for efficient communication and collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in Linux administration, Windows Server/Virtual Hyper-V, and cloud technology.
  • Cloudron Web Hosting: Familiarity with web hosting environments; Cloudron web hosting experience is a plus.
  • VoIP Systems Administration: Proficiency in VoIP systems administration, including Asterisk, Vicidial, and 3CX.
  • Domain Management: Experience with domain management through providers like GoDaddy and Cloudflare.
  • S3 Bucket Storage Management: Knowledge of S3 bucket storage management and best practices.
  • Programming Languages: Familiarity with programming languages such as PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and frameworks like Laravel.
